Grandma's Visit

Wow, Grandmama! Mom and Dad say they could not have survived those two weeks unless you were here. I asked them for proof for their claim, and they cited the total absence of photographs from the period. They explained that if there had been so much as a moment to think, they would at some point have remembered to pull out a camera and take a photo. But because there were so many events with their tenure applications and my hospital stay, they didn't think to take pictures. Personally, I can say that, now that I'm recovered, I'm peeved at the blogging blackhole. I will ride Mom and Dad's consciences in the future so that this unacceptable lapse is not replicated.
